Café Danner is a large vibrant hookah cafe and restaurant located in Amman, Jordan. The building has a spacious seating area, dedicated to a restaurant and a smaller, but more elegant, café. The restaurant seats approximately 200 people, and the café sits about 40. As throughout the Middle East smoking is allowed throughout the facility so both hookahs and cigarettes can be enjoyed in both the restaurant and the cafe.

The menu was reasonably priced and offered a broad assortment of Jordanian dishes including appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts. The drink menu included milkshakes, fresh juices, and of course coffee and tea.

The staff was courteous and attentive. The hookahs were Egyptian made and came with a classic Egyptian style hose and served with a large clay bowl. The hookah was served with natural lump-wood style charcoal, which was maintained by the staff approximately ever 5 minutes. The hookahs were clean but nothing amazing to look at and they offered only 5 flavors so the selection of flavors was limited.

Overall, Café Danner is a great café and restaurant catering to the local population of Amman and also very welcoming to tourist. Their English menu was perfect and the fact that they take credit cards makes paying easy!
